The Making a Difference Learning Lab

The Making a Difference (M.A.D) Learning Lab was created because of my passion for supporting and nurturing children. I’ve been an educator for over a decade, and I’m dedicated to the children and families I’ve been able to connect with. I have taught in many different settings, as well as many different grade levels (elementary, special ed, children’s church, autism therapy, summer reading programs, and middle/high school).
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Alverno College in Wisconsin, in 2011, Master of Science from Concordia University in Wisconsin, in 2015, and Post Master’s Certificate in Early Childhood Leadership from Walden University in 2022. My goal within the next 3 years is to obtain my doctorate in Education.
I haven’t been in a traditional classroom since 2016, I am confidently nurturing and molding the minds of children all around me. I currently homeschool my 3 children and I’m very grateful I can do so.
Being able to homeschool has allowed us to learn and grow together. My children are very inquisitive, and a lot of their learning is interest based (Interest-based learning is when children identify their interests and use those interests to drive and lead learning experiences).
The Making a Difference (M.A.D) Learning Lab offers a variety of educational resources for your children.
It takes a village to raise a child and I am dedicated to being connected with your child’s village.
